MetroBind: Connecting the past with the present

MetroBinding is the act of contacting others through a specific geographic location.  You may metrobind with others through an area you were born, raised, lived for a time or currently live.  Normally metrobinding would be done via clicking on a particular area of interest and reading the profiles of the people connected to that area, you may then proceed to other areas of the MetroBind, such as a message board or myspace page, in order to connect with old friends and acquaintences.

MetroBinding is not a new thing, however it is a new title for a process that really had no name that I could find before.  At the very least it’s a process that is to be used on this site.
